Graduation Requirements

 

For graduation from Gabriel Richard Catholic High School, students are required to earn a minimum of 25 units of credit, including credit in the following areas:

 

Theology (4 credits)

Language Arts (4 credits)

Mathematics (4 credits)

Science (3 credits)

Social Studies (3 credits)

World Language (2 credits)

Fine Arts (1 credit)

Technology (1 credit)

Public Speaking (1/2 credit)

Physical Education (1/2 credit)

Health (1/2 credit)

 

In addition to the required academic credits, 42 community service hours must be completed and documented before a diploma will be awarded.  See the Student Handbook for more information about this requirement.

 

To improve their chances of acceptance to the college of their choice, students are encouraged to select courses from the highest level from which they qualify.
