Teacher who has most influenced me:

Mr. Rutkowski has influenced me most at GR because he demonstrates a daily passion for teaching that inspired me to be engaged and to have fun while learning.  Mr. R's creativity is what made every class a new and exciting experience, and as a fellow Michigan fan, his class was an even-better experience!

Favorite high school memory:

My favorite high school memory was going to mass every week with classmates.  Being able to attend mass was a nice break from the stress of school work.  After-mass announcements also gave us some funny moments like when we gave Mr. Whalen continuous applause for his chili cookoff win!

Being the final member of the cast to ring the bell outside the school as The Phantom of the Opera concluded.

GPA:

4.34

Middle School:

St. Pius Catholic School

Attending:

Teacher who has most influenced me:

Mrs. Faoro.  I want to study Mechanical Engineering and focus on biomedical, and I want to work in a medical-based facility to help create machines and devices that will aid in people's lives.  I would have never thought about this without taking science classes with her, especially Honors Anatomy and Physiology this year.

Hanging out in the book club room with my friends and laughing about anything and everything we saw and heard.

Middle School:

St. Joseph Catholic School

Attending:

Michigan State University

Area of Study:

Teacher who has most influenced me:

Mrs. Faoro influenced me throughout my years here because she helped keep me interested in science.  She helped me understand Biology, AP Biology, and Anatomy.  On top of teaching me a lot of material, she also taught me some life skills and she was a great example of empathy to look up to.

Ms. Sovel influenced me an equal amount, but in a different way because she helped me believe in myself.  She taught me that it's ok to be who I am and I should be proud of myself and my accomplishments.

Favorite high school memory:

I really enjoyed Mr. Lopez's story times in English 9 and 10 and AP Language, and I enjoyed spending time with my friends in noisy classrooms laughing together.
