Applying to Gabriel Richard

 

Thank you for you interest in becoming a Pioneer!  Admission to Gabriel Richard Catholic High School is granted to 8th grade students who successfully complete the application and receive favorable recommendations from teachers and the principal of their school.

 

Transfer admissions to grades 10, 11 and 12 are considered on an individual basis. Transfer students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and clean disciplinary record to be considered.

 

In addition to the application for admission, the following information is required before a student can be registered:

 

• Completion of the High School Placement Test (for incoming 9th grade students only)

• A copy of the student's most recent report card

• Complete transcript from the last school attended

• Record of attendance and discipline

Students who are interested in attending Gabriel Richard are encouraged to also complete the following steps:

 

• Attend our Pioneer Exploration Day (for 7th and 8th grade students) 

• Attend our annual Open House

• Schedule a Pioneer Shadow Day​

Please note: A completed application must also include the following:

- Transcript/report cards

- Teacher recommendations

- Principal/counselor recommendation

These forms will be requested from the student's school during the online application process.

Gabriel Richard Catholic High School has a rolling admissions policy; however, applicants must apply by December 30, 2024 to receive an acceptance letter in January.
