Technology: Gabriel Richard is committed to continuous improvement in technology to support our mission of educating our students. We continuously evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance our ability to provide a comprehensive education. Each year we invest in upgrades and maintenance, including updating workstations, classroom presentation technology, and network infrastructure. Our Media Center and Business Lab each have more than 30 computers enabling them to accommodate an entire class with one student per computer. Our high-speed Internet is available to all students with parental permission and is filtered to reduce the risk of inadvertently accessing objectionable content. Our software includes Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Bridge). We maintain a subscription to WorldBook Encyclopedia online for student research and utilize Edline to communicate homework assignments and grades to parents and students. We have equipped most of our classrooms with ceiling-mounted video projectors and audio systems.
